In loving memory of Diane I. Cardenas of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who departed this world on March 30, 2026 at the age of 88. Diane leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Diane I. Cardenas to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Doering and Helen Doering; her son Daniel Cárdenas (Lisa); her sister Barbara Praxel (Robert); and her friend Alice Fularczyk.

She is survived by: her children, Brenda Cárdenas (Roberto Harrison) and Steven Cárdenas (Mary Jo); her grandchildren, Carly, Brendan Cárdenas, Samantha Scott and Lauren Marciniak; her sister Helen Doering; and her friend Jean Carr. She is also survived by many other extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Aurora Zilber Family Hospice would be most appreciated.

“For you my Dear Friend of 81 years,. you will always be in my thoughts and prayers. I can not believe that our "Girls Club" has lost you ! Out of 7 of us only 3 left and, It gets harder to keep going when you keep losing loving friends. All I know is,. God has been good, and we are so blessed to have memories of wonderful family and friends who have gone before us. I am still grieving my sweet Gordon after losing him after 66 years, but loving God and praying makes it easier God Bless! Carole”

The pain I felt when I heard the news I can not express. I am still in Florida, and have a tore calf muscle Doctor says I can not get on a plane until it heals. At this age we have so many problems.
