She is survived by: her granddaughter JoAnn Mastopietro; her aunt Bubs; her grandchildren, Kim Schaaf (Robert), Amy Rose, James Scherer (Sabrina), Tony Mastopietro (Debbie Wolkomir), Jason Scherer and Joseph Scherer (Lindsay); her great great grandchild Zariah Scherer; her sibling Thomas; and her sister-in-law Joyce.
She was dedicated to many charities including the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, The Smile Train, and the Franciscan Mission Service, among others.
