He was predeceased by : his wife Jacqueline. He is survived by : his children, Diane Scherer (Tim), Karen Neitzel (Tom) and Matt Rieck (Laurel); his grandchildren, Amy Hettinger (Patrick), Ryan Scherer, Lauren Accola (Stu), Harrison and Madelyn Rieck; and his great grandchildren, Finn, Liam, Parker and Ella.
