The passing of Douglas Michael MacNeil of Milwaukee, Wisconsin leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 24, 2025 at the age of 85. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Carleton "Cog" MacNeil and Antoinette MacNeil (Smith); his siblings, J. Carleton "Sandy" MacNeil (Ginny) and Judith "Judy" Zacher (Peter); and his brothers-in-law, Robert Minahan (Judy) and Michael Minahan.
He is survived by: his children, Carleton "Cog" (Traci Burgard) of Baileys Harbor, Tracy Gallun (Alby) of Evanston, IL, Douglas "Michael" MacNeil, Jr. (Beth) of Milwaukee and Amy Wolf (Devin) of Oconomowoc; his grandchildren, Penn, Grace, Charlie MacNeil, Canyon Burgard, Fritz, Lucy, Peter, Robo, Gunnar Gallun, Reagan Freewalt, Parker, Mac and Gus Wolf; and also Marion MacNeil (Bischoff) of Santa Barbara, CA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM at the Stella Maris Parish-Egg Harbor (7710 WI-42, Egg Harbor, WI 54209). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the South Cultural Arts Center at St. John's on the Lake (1840 N Prospect Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53202).
