He was predeceased by: his parents, David Brugman and Eva Brugman; his daughter Mary Klunk; his wife Carol Brugman; his grandson Rick Rome; and his siblings, Joyce Guelich (Roy), Hershal Brugman (Shirly) and Janice Smith (Stan).
He is survived by: his children, Bill, Barbara Arcuri (Scott) and Lori Geis (Rick); and his grandchildren, Scott Rome, Angela Rome, Clifford Brugman, Nick Brugman, Christian Brugman, Daniel Meiser, David Meiser, Sara Williams, Kali Restivo, Marcy Theisen and Aubree Geis. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren and many more family and friends.
