She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Stich and Lillian Stich; her husband James Ward; and her sisters, Germaine Lorbeck and Ramona Detaege.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Ward, Mark Ward (Margaret) and Mary Duke (Jimmy); her grandchildren, Deanne Harder (Aaron), Dr. Thomas Ward (Tatum Mortimer) and Dr. Madeleine Ward; her great grandchildren, Teylor and Marina Harder; and her sisters, Dorothy Allen, Elaine Gillis (James) and Rose Van Calster.
