We are sad to announce that, on March 19, 2022, at the age of 94, Emily A. Elert in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, born in Wausau, Wisconsin passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Emily A. Elert to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Hennlich and Ina Hennlich; her husband Harry; her sister Evelyn Wanke; her parents-in-law, Gladys and Harry Elert Sr.; and her siblings-in-law, Richard (Jeanette), Kenneth Elert, Ruth Aas and Barbara Elert.

She is survived by: her sons, Michael (Honora Norton), Mark (Debbie) and Mitchell Elert (Joan); her grandchildren, Michael, Mark Jr., Michelle, Nicholas and Alex Elert; her great grandchildren, Adam, Jacob and Matthew Elert; and her sister Jean. She is also survived by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated.

She was a member of the order and although not active for many years was always in our thoughts and prayers. A memorial is being sent to the Alzheimer's Association.
