In the vast expanse of eternity, Eugene shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Eugene farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his brother Paul (late Barb); and his granddaughter Lesley. He is survived by: his wife Ellen; his children, Paul (Anne), Sis Steinmetz (Paul), E. G. (Barb) and Kevin Schramka (Lori); and his brother Tommy Schramka (Jeanne). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Mother of Good Counsel Parish (6924 W Lisbon Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53210). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Mother of Good Counsel Church (6924 W Lisbon Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53210).
Memorials in Gene's name to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
