He was predeceased by: his wife Caterina Bonfiglio; his parents, Rosa Bonfiglio and Rosario Bonfiglio; his sons, Russell and Joseph; his granddaughter Mary; and his siblings, Giuseppe, Giuseppa and Maria.

He is survived by: his children, Anthony (Debra), Mary Bergmann (Stephen) and Linda Schulz (David); his grandchildren, Michael (Kylie), Teresa, Sara, Kathleen, Joseph, Genna, Katarina, Thomas, Alanna, Anthony (Madeleine) and John; his great grandchildren, Keira, Luca and Margot; and his brother Lucio (Nunziata). He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
