It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frederick Philip Zagone S. J. (Milwaukee, Wisconsin), born in Steger, Illinois, who passed away on March 10, 2026, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Zagone and Juliette Marcotte Zagone; and his nephew Zacariah Busch. He is survived by: his siblings, Jim Zagone (late Mary) of Janesville, WI, Carmella Foster (late Burt) of Spring Park, MN, Margie Zamzow (Barry) of Boise, ID, Joe Zagone (Marielle) of Steger, IL and Rosanne Zagone of St. Louis, MO; and his cousin Marlene Holman (Billie Groff) of Gainesville, FL.. He is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews and 24 grand nieces and nephews.
The weekly family Zoom, (started during Covid in 2020) included cousins Mary Kay Ingalls, Rev. Jack Long, and family friend Rhonda Patten Glew.
