He was predeceased by: his wife Irma Lilia. He is survived by: his children, Roy (Maria), Olaf and Vanessa (Stephen); his grandchildren, Lilia, Senna, Eva and Noah; and his sister Otilia. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In honor of pastor Sid's legacy, memorial contributions can be made to the Isidro M. Carrera Endowed Scholarship at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary.
