She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Sorenson and Wanda Sorenson; her sister Gloria; her aunt Sylvia; and her close friend Debbie Collins.

She is survived by: her husband William Esqueda Sr.; her sons, William Esqueda Jr. (Leslie) and Joseph Esqueda (Ruby); her grandchildren, Marisa, Liliana, Ethan and Lilah; her sisters, Mary, Ann and Janet; her siblings' children, Ashlee, Christine, Anthony and Chris; and her close friend Cathy.

Memorial donations in Jean's memory to the Humane Society are appreciated.
