She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend James Lathan and Rose Lathan; her husband Frederick Brown; and her siblings, Milton Lathan, Gwendolyn Lathan, Beverly Lathan, Brenda Lathan and Herbert Lathan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer Townes (Tony) and Elizabeth Higgins (Randy); her grandchildren, Alexus Ness, Orion Bell and Caelum Seals; her great grandchild Kenai Drew; and her siblings, Lamont Lathan, Cynthia Lathan, Barbara Lathan, Belinda Lathan and Bonita Lathan. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
