He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse W. Jones Sr. and Dilsey Jones; his niece Rhea Olsen; his nephew Alexander Jones; and his sister-in-law Martha Syslo.

He is survived by: his wife Melva Jones; and his daughters, Jennifer Pradarelli (Dave) and Jessica Hinojosa (Dan). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
