He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Gail Sandoval; his children, Nicolas (Courtney Nikolay), Christopher (Elena Hernandez) and Laura Sandoval (Joseph Waldman); his grandson Lewis Sandoval Waldman; his parents, Estela Sandoval and Jesus; and his siblings, Ofelia Villarreal and Jesse Sandoval (Anita).
