Jose G. Cortez Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 21, 2025, Jose G. Cortez of Milwaukee, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Jose shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Jose farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Juana Escobedo; his children, Octavio Cortes (Maricela), Alejandro C., Dulce Gutierrez (Juan), Jorge Cortez and Samantha Cortez (Fernando Ortiz); his siblings, Marisela Cervantes and Luz Elena Perciado; and his mother Amelia Guerrero. He was also cherished by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rozga Funeral & Cremation Services – Rozga-Walloch Chapel (4309 S 20th St, Milwaukee, WI 53221). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rozga-Walloch Chapel - Rozga Funeral & Cremation Services (4309 S 20th St, Milwaukee, WI 53221).
