He was predeceased by: his father Kermit Schmeiser; and his sister Maxine. He is survived by: his mother Virginia "Ginny" Bashaw; his children, Philip, Joel, Elizabeth and Sarah Schmeiser; his siblings, Leigh Schmeiser and Nadine Titze (Dan); his nephew Mike Emmrich (Jeanne); his great-nieces, Brianna Nikodem (Jared) and Abigail Lambrecht (Elliot); his great-nephew Tyler Emmrich; and the mother of his children Lauri Reid Trapp.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Grace Lutheran Church (3381 E Puetz Rd, Oak Creek, WI 53154). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Oakwood Rest Cemetery (300 W Oakwood Rd, Oak Creek, WI 53154).
