She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond; her parents, Stanley Kawczynski and France Kawczynski; and her siblings, Wally Kawczynski (late Theresa), Edward Kawczynski (late Virginia), Eugene Kawczynski (late Jane), Raymond Kawczynski (late Lillian), Eleanor Bertsche (late Albert), Alice Nitka (late John), Evelyn Stawicki (late Edward), Rita Reszel (late Richard) and Florence Kawczynski.

She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Lukaszewski and Barbara Lukaszewski. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Leona's name may be made to Immaculate Conception Parish.
