He was predeceased by: his parents, Peshackque Neconish (Freeman) and Madeleine Hanks Neconish; his daughter Edwina Rose Waubanascum (Winnie); his former wife Darlene Sommers; and his siblings, Melvin, Carl, Dan, Albert, Louis, Joe, Ronnie, Mary Ann, Marie, Madeline and Merceline.
He is survived by: his wife Susan; his brother-in-law Michael; his sister Virginia "Rose"; his cousin Joan Lord; his niece Annette; and his pet Kohel. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
