With heavy hearts, we announce the death of LtCol Patrick Jeremiah Maher (Milwaukee, Wisconsin), who passed away on February 5, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Maher and Florence Maher; his sisters, Joan Juriewicz (late John) and Mary Flannick (late Jack); and his parents-in-law, Henrik "Pete" and Mathilda Horne.
He is survived by: his children, Tim Maher (Trish), Mary Jo Hempe (Dreux), Sharon Wilmouth, Mike Maher (Irene) of Elaine's Hope, Jim Maher (Andrea) and John Maher (Cynthia); his grandchildren, Maren Wendt (Mike), Tommy, Nick Maher, Emily, Owen, Grace and Sophie Maher; his sibling Thomas (late Beverly); his brother-in-law Robert Horne (late Dee Dee); his children-in-law, Vincent Horne (late Donna), Dolores Kaminski (late Robert), Geraldine Shiltz (late Joseph) and Rosalie Zovi (late Frank); his significant other Kathleen Ann Horne; his sons, Nhut Air Base and Patrick; Lawrence Horne (late Mary). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
