He was predeceased by: his father Richard "Dik" Evenson. He is survived by: his mother Marilyn; his sister Jill Cruz (Sammy); his sibling's children, Teresa Cruz, Jose Cruz Jr., Jessica Cruz and Richard Cruz; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Samuel, Mariah and Jazzmaiah. He is also survived by other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mark's name may be made to the church.
