It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha L. Watts (Milwaukee, Wisconsin), who passed away on February 20, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Martha L. departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Martha L. may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Martha L. leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Al Cherry and Martha. She is survived by: her children, Cherry Watts (Steve Way) of Jennifer, J. D., Jennifer Block (Frank), J. D. Watts (Julia), Mark Watts (Joan McDuffie) and Abigail Wright Grissom (Colin Grissom); and her niece Sharon Davis. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren.
