He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Christenson and Dorothy Christenson; his father-in-law Ben Mischler; and his niece Danielle Sutheimer. He is survived by: his wife Donna Mischler; his daughters, Sadie Elsen (Myles) and Samantha Christenson (David); his grandchildren, Jace, Brynnley, Zoey, Brian and David; his mother-in-law Betty Mischler; and his sisters, Val Sutheimer (Tom), Doreen McHugh and Kris Biesterveld (Pete).

In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.
