Miles Edwin Coulter Obituary

Passed into eternal peace on Monday, July 21st, 2025 at the age of 106 (and 11 months). He died peacefully after a 1 week stay at Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa, WI.

Miles was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 62 years, Elizabeth "Betty" Coulter. Also preceded in death by Rev Harvey Wangerin, Rev Fred Hinz, Esther Hinz, Alex YoungEagle, Anna YoungEagle, Jonathan YoungEagle, Rev J George Hauser, Roy Schoewe, Rev Bill Steinke and grandson Jeff Taylor (Coulter).

Miles was the cherished father of Robert (Janice) Coulter, Marilyn (Leroy) Zimdars and Judy (Brian) Mosehart; loving Grandfather of Starlee Counts (David), Jamie (Zimdars), Donald (Amy) Mosehart and Dawn (Aaron) Olson. Great grandfather of Hana, Orion, Olivia, Kylee, Brandon, Jake, Ben, Emily, Ashton and Hudson. Dear Brother-in-law to Magdalene Wangerin, Dorothy Schoewe, Hildegard Hauser; endearing Uncle of numerous Nephews and Nieces. He is further survived by many caring friends he made while living at Hart Park Square.

Miles retired as an accountant over 40 years ago. For many years he then enjoyed life with his wife Betty…playing cards, square dancing, playing the accordion, dart ball and just spending time with his family. Around the time he turned 90 he became fascinated with art and painted many pictures that told a story about his life. Never wanting to fall "behind", he always kept up with technology. Wherever he went he became a celebrity, everyone knew Miles and he will be missed by so many.

Visitation will be held at Mt Olive Lutheran Church, 5327 W Washington Blvd, on Thursday July 31st, 2025 from 10am until the time of service at 11am. Gathering after the service in Fellowship Hall. Celebration of his new life will be at Wisconsin Memorial Cemetery 13235 W Capitol Dr, Brookfield, Wi at 2:30pm. (Red Parking Area).
