She was predeceased by: her husband Marvin Mess. She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Clark (Richard), Debbie Czerniak (Jim) and Pam Olson (Allen); her grandchildren, Ellie Clark, Jenny Czerniak, Andrew and Justin Olson (Taylor); and her sister Joan Wintersberger. She is also survived by many other sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials for St. Matthew Ev. Lutheran Church Milwaukee, Loving Shepherd Milwaukee or St. Matthew Oconomowoc would be appreciated.
