Nancy Spano Obituary
Nancy (nee Regalbuto) Spano went home to the Lord on March 12, 2022. Born in Porticello, Sicily, she immigrated to America in 1936. The family became a part of the Milwaukee Third Ward Italian community where she met the love of her life and husband John Spano. She is survived by and will be greatly missed by her three children; Ralph (Kathy) Spano, Fay Spano and Rosemary Spano (Michael) Iannelli and cherished grandson Nick (Erin Byrne) Iannelli. Further survived by loving sister-in-law Josephine Spano, dear friend Margaret Carini and many cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Nancy was a devoted member of the Pompeii Women's Club, Ladies of UNICO, St. Rita's Christian Women, The Prayer Shawl Ministry, Ladies of Unico, Madonna del Lume Society, and the Italian Community Center. She lived her life with faith, gratitude and love, making the most out of every situation. She is preceded in death by her husband John Spano, and parents Frank and Rosa (nee Sanfilippo) Regalbuto.
Visitation Friday March 18 at St. Rita's Parish, 1617 N Cass St., beginning at 9:30 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m.
