We are sad to announce that, on July 26, 2023, at the age of 94, Phyllis (Makowski) A. Scharner (Milwaukee, Wisconsin) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Adolph "Al" Vincent Scharner; her daughter Kathleen M. Scharner; and her parents, Andrew Makowski and Laura Makowski. She is survived by: her daughter Sallie Boge (Mark); her grandchildren, Jim Scharner (Jennifer), Julia, Megan, Jack and Kate; her friend Barb Witzel (Barb); her son Jim; her nephew Tim; and her friends, Joan, Lynn and Catherine. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Kathleen M. Scharner Scholarship Fund at Mount Mary University (2900 Menomonee River Pkwy.
