He was loved and cherished by many people including : his child Thomas Modl (Melissa); his granddaughter Amelia Modl; his significant other Kathy; his parents, Marie Modl and Thomas Modl; his siblings, Sharon, Mike (Peg), Jim and Joe (Ruth); his uncle John; his nieces and nephews, Katy, Christy (Drew), Angela, James Jr. and Diana (Dan); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Will, Marshall, Marcella, Cooper and Micah; his significant other's daughters, Amy and Shannon; and his pet Samantha. He was also cherished by his cousins, a tremendous group of loyal friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society – Wisconsin Chapter or the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.
