He is survived by: his nieces, Kenysha Matthews, JaKari and Amari Spates; his mother Lessie Mae Leon-Guerrero (Leon-Guerrero) of Milwaukee, WI; his daughters, Denean Johnson of Smyrna, GA and Brittney Jones (Re-Shaun) of Marietta, GA; his siblings, Perry Matthews of Stone Mountain, GA, Kenny Matthews (Dawn) of Valrico, FL, Jack Leon-Guerrero of Milwaukee, WI, Jeffery Saffold (Sharita) of Fayetteville, NC, Melvin Safford (Julia) of Madison, WI, Valerie Smoot (Allen), Karen Benning (Brian) and Veneta Leon-Guerrero of Milwaukee, WI; and his grandchildren, Breanna Johnson of Smyrna, GA, Aaron Johnson of Kennesaw, GA, Titan Jones and Kairo Jones of Marietta, GA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the New Testament Church of Milwaukee (10201 W Bradley Rd, Milwaukee, WI 53224).
