With solemn reverence, we commemorate Rodney A. Swain (Milwaukee, Wisconsin), whose life came to an end on December 25, 2025 at the age of 65, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carolyne; his parents, Sherrill Swain (Beling) and Margaret Katherine "Kay" Swain; his sisters, Scharmone Young and Marlene Green; his nieces and nephews, Sherry Peterson, Pamela Carpenter, Dennis Gurley and John "John John" Young, Jr.; and his children, Tammy Forcke (Amanda), Rebecca Busch (Raphael), Melida Busch (Matthew) and Reynold Busch, III (Heather).
He found great joy in knowing that the students who passed through the Swain Lab, his contributions to furthering the field of Neuroscience, and his efforts as part of UWM's administration, will continue his academic legacy.
