It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy R. Schmidt (Milwaukee, Wisconsin), who passed away on March 31, 2026, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Diana; his daughter Cheryl Stenzel (David); and his parents, Frieda Schmidt and John Schmidt. He is survived by: his children, Pamela Pilarski (Frank), Dennis Schmidt (Jane) and Tammy Schmidt; his grandchildren, Jason, Aaron, Adam, Sarah and Lisa; and his sisters, Louise and Gloria. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Divine Shepherd Lutheran Church or the American Heart Association appreciated.
