The family announces the passing of Ruth Arlene Lippert (Milwaukee, Wisconsin) on September 27, 2026. Ruth, born on October 24, 1921, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Instenes and Anna Instenes; her sisters, Olive and Jeanette; her sister-in-law Ruth Dillahunty; her husband Ralph; and her grandson Evan Fahl.
She is survived by: her children, Ruth, Nancy Fahl, Linda Young (Mark), Robert Lippert (Teresa) and Jane Lippert; her grandchildren, Bryan Fahl, Erik Fahl, Nessa Young-Miller (JGreg), Bex, Reggie Young (Ellie), Eric LaCoursiere (Alaina), Kristin Nadendla (Prasad) and Michael Lippert; her great grandchildren, Tristram, Oriana, Leoric Miller, Zander LaCoursiere and Benjamin Young; Spencer and Ruth. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends and her 88th street neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Mount Caramel Lutheran Church (8424 W Center St, Milwaukee, WI 53222). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
Donations in her memory can be made to Mount Carmel Lutheran Church or the Ruth Instenes Lippert Scholarship Fund- College of Nursing, University of Wiscsonsin-Eau Claire to fund future nursing students from rural Wisconsin.
