He is survived by: his children, Monika Gorka (Łukasz) and Kamila Krzyżak (Adam); his sisters, Barbara Matecki (late Christopher) and Teresa Shelleh; and his godchildren, Ava Casey, Sarah Shelleh and Daniel Grochowski. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
