He is survived by: his wife Carole Giersch (Van der Linden) of Elizabeth's Parish; his children, Gregory, Katherine, Natalie and Lydia; the mother of his children Mary; his son Brian (Linanne); his grandchildren, Jacob (Kelsey) and Neely; his great grandchild Wyatt Lee; his son Peter (Carole); his grandchildren, Paul, David, Therese, Annie and Mary; and his siblings, Maryann Mrozek, Suzanne Schaefer and Harold Giersch (Tim). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
