He was predeceased by: his parents, William (Leona Johnstone) and Deephaven; his wife Charlotte Patton; and his sister Margaret Anderson. He is survived by: his children, David Johnstone (Candice), Margaret McDonough (Mark), Catherine Latson (Peter), Elizabeth Bush (Randall) and Susan Moderski (Michael); and his sisters, Phyllis Taylor and Sylvia Cross. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
