He was predeceased by: his mother Olga Opland (Stetzer) of Browns Valley; his wife Bernice; his parent Hilmer Opland; his sister Mildred; his brother-in-law Larry Timm; his brother Bronson; his siblings-in-law, Aldene Opland and Walter Zube; his nephew David Opland; his in-laws, Milton and Estella Bryhn; and his brother-in-law Dean Mades.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Hauser (Michael) of Mindoro and Aaron Opland (Nancy) of Mindoro; his grandchildren, Trevor, Stephanie Hauser, Krista, Jesse Kook, Matthew, Abbey Opland, Tyler Opland, Kaitlyn, Sam Opland and Kyle Opland (Ashlee Garbers); his great grandchildren, Kian, Kambri Hauser, Ellie, Jack Kook, Rhett and Kinsley Opland; his sister Zeviah Zube; his sister-in-law Beverly Mades; and his daughter Rossy of Guadalajara, Mexico.. He is also survived by eight nephews; a niece; and many dear friends and neighbors.
