He was predeceased by: his parents, William Achterkirch and Mary Achterkirch (Leibl); his wife Linda; his parents-in-law, Bunson "Kelly" and Alinda Paisley; his sisters, Lorraine Langlois (Richard), Shirley Blaschke and Betty Tasker (Bruce); and his siblings-in-law, Anthony Vitale and Linda M. Achterkirch.
He is survived by: his daughter Amy Tauscher (David) of West Salem; his granddaughters, Kelly Brassow (Pastor Keith) of Kent and Katie Tauscher (Jace Fellers) of La Crescent; his siblings, William Achterkirch (Mary Ann Hadl) of Holmen, Archie Achterkirch (Priscilla) of Holmen and Charlotte Vitale of Arkdale; and his brother-in-law Art Blaschke of Aurora, Illinois. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given St. John's Lutheran Church or the Farmington First Responders.
