She was predeceased by: her parents, Reuben Thiede and Dora Thiede (Johnson); her husband Gregory; her in-laws, William and Gladys Gorgen; her stepmother-in-law Lucille Gorgen; and her brother-in-law Don Gronewald.
She is survived by: her children, Grant Gorgen (Ann), Mike Gorgen (Jenny), Steve Gorgen (Denise) and Beth Larsen; her grandchildren, Lexie Whitehurst (Joel), Tyra, Grady, Gunnar, Matthew (Tayah), Joshua, Ryan, Joey (Taylor Politoski), Jake (Carley Hach), Jaynie, Kiagh Van Etten (Mason Horn) and Kendall Van Etten; her great grandchildren, Abigail and Myles Gorgen; her brother Richard Thiede (Diane); her nieces, Dawn Thiede and Rebecca Cleary (Joseph); her sister-in-law Dolores Gronewald; and her friend Linda Murphy. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:50 AM at the Faith Lutheran Church (400 Ridge St, Mineral Point, WI 53565). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to The Greg and Joni Gorgen Fund, of the Mineral Point Community Endowment Fund or Faith Lutheran Church.
