He was predeceased by: his parents, Urban Schaaf and Leone Schaaf (Dalles); his children, Karen (Mark Cody) and Greg; his in-laws, William and Ruth Harris; his sister Patty; his siblings-in-law, Bob Regan, Donald Harris, Doris and Harold Robb; and his nephew Bob Studinger.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Ann Harris; his children, Mark (Kate), Marcia (Ron Koller), Mary (Jim Pluemer), Susan (Bryan Schultz) and Terri (Bob Lawinger); and his nieces, Nancy (Tom Klawitter) and Sue Studinger (Regan). He is also survived by 18 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mary & Paul Catholic Church (224 Davis St, Mineral Point, WI 53565-1113). A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
