With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald J. Gauger of Minocqua, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 17, 2026 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Gauger and Eunice Gauger; his wife Shirley; and his son Brian. He is survived by: his family, Roxanne, Wade, Brian and Carl; his children, Roxanne Gresch (Steve), Wade and Carl Gauger (Meg); his grandchildren, Grant Hunter, Ben Gauger (Emily Milton), Shane Gauger, Brittany Gauger and Michelle Gauger; his great grandchildren, Lilly, Lacey, Mason, River, Colton, Nico, Vivian and Taylor; and his nephew Rock of Ages Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Rock of Ages Lutheran Church 10441 Hwy 70 W Minocqua, WI. 54548, or donations of birdseed may be made to Seasons of Life Hospice House.
