He was predeceased by: his parents, Ann Roethle and Lawrence "Blitz" Roethle; his sister Jayne Roethle; and his siblings-in-law, Colleen Roethle and Pat Smits.
He is survived by: his siblings, Bruce Roethle (Sylvia), Jess Roethle, Laura Konop (Rick) and Lisa Smits. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ribbon of Hope Foundation of De Pere; St. Jude Children's Research Hospital; or the Disabled American Veterans Organization.
