He is survived by: his significant other Amy Tendrup; his mother Mary Werlein (McKenna); his siblings, Jake Werlein, Teresa Werlein, Lori Buckley (Ricardo), Jennifer Moran, Emily Punke (Adam), Sam Werlein (Kelsey) and Karen Sondalle (Justin); and his nieces and nephews, Taylor Salveggio, Kayleigh, Breanna Seagraves, Alesa, Tamia Buckley, Darius, Nina Moran, Harold, Josie, Cara Punke, Otto, Abram and Freda Werlein-Reimann. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church (453 W Hudson St, Mondovi, WI 54755). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
