He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Bauer and Helen Bauer (Radle); his in-laws, Delmar and Loretta Sahm (Dierich); his brothers, Jerome and Jim Bauer; and his brothers-in-law, Ross Thompson and Francis Koller.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Ann Sahm; his children, Lisa of Indiana, Susan of Menominee, Ron Bauer (Angie) of Mondovi and Curtis Bauer (Trista) of Durand; his siblings, Dorothy Thompson of Eau Claire, Marilyn Koller of Eau Claire, Carol Prissel (Larry) of Durand, Jean Lechlor (Jim) of Grange Hall and Dennis Bauer (Sandy) of Eau Claire; and his siblings-in-law, Kay, Jean Bauer of Mondovi, Roger Sahm of Indiana, Larry Sahm (Debbie) of Chippawa Falls and Russell Sahm of Florida. He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren.
