She was predeceased by: her parents, Vern Smith and Erma Smith (Cline); and her siblings, Delbert Smith, Glenn Smith, Geraldine Johnson, Edith Milestone, Virginia Ryser and Helen.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Vandlen; her sons, Jeff (Ellen), Steve (Jodee) and Scott Vandlen (Shannon); her grandchildren, Bryon (Sarah), April (Greg), Mandi, Charlie and Derek; her great grandchildren, Logan, Gavin, Madeline, Mila, Joseph, Gabby and Anthony; and her sisters, Evelyn Tschanz and Maralyn Martin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
