She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Miles and Iola Miles (Wiltrout); her grandchildren, Kyle Gumtow and Brooke Knouse Allen; and her son-in-law Larry Knouse.
She is survived by: her husband Walter Gumtow of Monroe; her children, Brenda Knouse of Monroe, Brian Gumtow (Lisa) of Monroe, Bonnie Pasker of Lone Rock, Bruce Gumtow (Tammy) of Beloit and Barbara Pankhurst (Jeremy) of Brodhead; her foster son Troy Dietmeier (Tammy) of Damacus, MD; and her siblings, Darlene Monson of Rockford, Howard Miles (Dixie) of Fennimore and Juanita Miles of Rockford. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home (1455 Mansion Dr, Monroe, WI 53566). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
