He was predeceased by: his parents, Erwin Daane and Helen Daane (Lemmenes); and his sister Ruth Day. He is survived by: his nephews, Kevin Day (Rebecca) of Waupun, Steven Day (Janel) of Sun Prairie and Brad Day (Katie) of Poynette; and his brother-in-law Rodney Day of Randolph. He is also survived by six great-nieces and nephews; and three great-great-nieces.
In lieu of sending flowers or plants, a memorial fund will be established in John's name for the Monroe United Methodist Church and Monroe Schools.
