She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Severson and Clara Severson (Anderson); her husband Bill; her son-in-law Fred Hasler; and her siblings, Cleo Pilz (Conrad), Eleanor Klemm (Wilbur), Darlyne Campbell (Claire), Lorrell and Russell Severson (Helen).
She is survived by: her children, Greg Smith (Karen) of Lake Barrington, IL, Mary Jo Hasler, Kim (Corrie) and Jim Smith of Monroe; her grandchildren, Scott Smith (Josh Yates), Christina Smith (Julia), Jennifer Meyer (Larry), Tim Hasler (Nicki), Andrea Denure (Tyler), Tyler Smith, Ashley Speth (Kyle) and Katie Carlson (Ben); her great grandchildren, Brianna, Austin, Abby Meyer, Lennon, Lux, Levi, Lainey Hasler, Camden, Louie Denure, Addisyn Smith, Hailey, Lucas Speth, Jordan, Jackson and Isaiah Smith; and her sister-in-law Mildred Byrns. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
