She was predeceased by: her grandparents, William Trickel, Ardell Jackson and Judith Jackson. She is survived by: her mother Debra Niday (Trickel) of Oregon; her cousin Ashley Carpenter; her daughter Payton Ethridge of Monroe; her grandmother Norma Trickel of Monroe; her father Daniel Crook (Shelly) of Michigan; her siblings, Seth Niday and Bailey Flesher; her siblings' children, Brayson and Berkley; her sister Ashley Grinnell (Erik); her siblings' children, Presley, Kailey and Bradley; her grandfather Robert Crook; and her pets, Minnie, Bruiser and Jordy. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and longtime friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established for Nicole's daughter, Payton, who will be attending nursing school in the fall.
