He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hoesly and Hannah Hoesly (Krattiger); his daughter Lisa Wentworth; and his brother-in-law Harvey Disch, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Olson; his daughter Teresa Pickarts (Paul); his grandsons, Aiden Wentworth (Becca Schmidt), Brett Pickarts (Dani) and Brady Pickarts; his great grandchildren, Malcolm and Violet Pickarts; his sister Diane Disch; his nephews, Harvey, Jr., Tim and Matthew Disch; and his niece Tina (Thomas Pitcher).

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Moose Lodge 639.
