He was predeceased by: his parents, Myrto Saalsaa and Genevieve Saalsaa (Steiner); and his children, Renee and Tom. He is survived by: his wife Gayle Schild; his children, Raynold Saalsaa (Valerie), Julie Moran (Curt), Curt Saalsaa (Jill) and Harlan Saalsaa (Lonnie); his son-in-law Greg Boyce; his grandchildren, Amanda Minks (Kyle), Taylor Saalsaa (Callie), Carson Saalsaa (Shawnna), Rachel Saalsaa, Hannah Nelson (Woodrow), Kelsee Saalsaa, Jadyn Saalsaa and Zander Saalsaa; and his great grandchildren, Avery Minks, Max Minks and Raelyn Saalsaa.
